ABOUT LYNN PHAM & ROSS, LLP

LPR focuses its practice to the representation of employers in matters involving labor and employment law.

The Firm offices in Fort Worth, Texas, but the Firm’s practice extends beyond the Lone Star State, throughout the southwest and around the nation.  Within the past three years, our attorneys have represented clients in more than 20 different states, in addition to handling matters all across Texas.

There are many reasons for the success of the Firm and the rapid growth of its practice, but it starts with the quality of its people.  LPR is comprised of excellent lawyers with outstanding credentials, “big-firm” training, broad-based practical experience and diverse backgrounds.  All are well-versed in crafting creative and effective solutions to the challenges faced by clients.

The breadth of experience within the Firm allows LPR to handle virtually any matter relating to a company’s employment practices.  In addition to garden-variety wrongful discharge litigation, our attorneys have successfully handled class-action lawsuits, contentious harassment actions, wage & hour claims, trade secret and unlawful competition litigation, union organizing and decertification campaigns, contract negotiations, arbitrations, investigations, and administrative proceedings under all manner of state and federal statutes.  Our attorneys are also quite adept at keeping clients out of trouble in the first place through preventive counseling, management training, and assistance with drafting and implementation of policies and procedures in order to ensure across-the-board compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Because of their broad-based expertise, LPR attorneys are frequently called upon to write and speak on issues of concern to employers and cutting-edge developments in the fields of labor and employment law and policy.  Several are Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

From the perspective of the client, however, the most important measure of any law firm comes down to one thing—getting results.  LPR  is committed to providing its clients with the highest-quality counsel and service available, which means listening to and anticipating the needs of the client and then out-thinking and out-working the opposition.  The results have spoken for themselves.  By being aggressive, industrious and smart, LPR  attorneys have amassed an outstanding track record of success in their battles with organized labor and disgruntled employees.  They have also prevented untold numbers of potential claims by helping their clients to anticipate and wire around potential problems.  The difference is simple—while some firms are content simply to churn files and collect on their invoices, the attorneys at LPR  are driven first and foremost by a desire to win.

Equally important is the Firm’s commitment to providing exceptional value.  LPR lawyers understand that their clients face constant pressure to contain costs without compromising quality.  While many large firms are raising their hourly rates to meet expenses, our lawyers have structured the Firm in a way that minimizes overhead and encourages efficiency.  It comes down to priorities and common sense.  LPR clients don’t end up paying for marble staircases, gourmet coffee, lavish summer recruiting parties or high salaries for inexperienced law school graduates.  By placing an emphasis on the things that matter most—and eliminating things that matter least—LPR can provide unsurpassed client service at rates that no full-service firm can touch.  LPR partners typically bill out at lower hourly rates than a company would usually pay for a mid-level associate at a larger law firm.  All matters are staffed with an eye toward keeping the client’s total costs as low as possible, while providing the requisite level of experience needed to protect the interests of the client and ensure the success of the representation.   The Firm prides itself on never “surprising” a client with unexpected fees or costs, or by overstaffing files.

Perhaps the best evidence of LPR’s commitment to excellence and client service is provided by the Firm’s clients themselves.  Companies thinking of retaining LPR  are encouraged to speak with some of the many representative clients who have already done so.  They’ll tell you that our attorneys do more than “talk the talk” - they “walk the walk” every day.
